Dead Men Tell No Tales
After waking up and finding yourself buried alive, how do you keep yourself both sane and breathing? Tell stories. When the world was shutting down and life seemed to fall apart, I did the only thing I knew how to do. TELL STORIES.
Two people try to figure out their situation in a creative way, but succumb to the eventual cycle that plagues them.

Dead Men Tell No Tales has been produced by Stephen Kaplan through Bergen County Academies for the high school's senior-directed one-act play festival. The play was directed by student Sasha Selick. There were a total of three performances over June 1st-3rd, 2023.

This play will have its second production at Lee's Summit North High School by William Palmer as a project for the Theatre 2 class. There will be one performance on March 27, 2024.
Mixed Feelings
Brone has never known joy and Gale has never known grief. The two characters meet and and through a series of tests, try to teach the other what it is like to feel these different ways. The lessons are accompanied by song, dance, and poetry. Taking inspiration from Sarah Ruhl and Samuel Beckett to create a play about emotional well being.
CW: this play deals with issues surrounding anxiety, depression, death, intrusive thoughts, cancer, and bullying.

Mixed Feelings was part of a commission for the InterUrban ArtHouse's 2023 ArtHeals exhibit in Overland Park, KS.
The Light: a Jukebox Musical
The Light is an unpublished jukebox musical using the works of Regina Spektor. The piece has gone through several readings among friends and revisions.
